Music
Audio is basically my first love, I've always got things in the works. Some I've finished the composition of but not recorded the parts, others I've finished the audio for but not decided how to present it. Usually a story fills my mind as I write and I feel that my pieces work best as an audio/visual combo.
Original Demos & Sketches
In the spirit of #NoiseNovember I thought I'd share some music that I'd been working on during that month.

This is an Audio/Visual piece that I created in January 2015 designed specifically for surround sound. This was the first time I'd made my own video from scratch and produced audio in 5.1.
Lil' demo of some rifferoons I made recently to test my guitar practice progress.
The Lost Files (Archive coming soon)
About 10 years ago I lost the project files for these tracks when the University computers were wiped for the year. I had some mp3s of beta exports but I'd forgotten to transfer the projects. They were just a bit of fun so I didn't feel like reconstructing the projects or sharing them on a public platform. Years later, I still find myself listening to them and they still make me smile so I'm going to edit basic videos to go with them and stick them on YouTube.
Original Library Music (Archive coming soon)
Most of these tracks were made to sit in the background of videos or video games. It's common for us to say that we never really "finish" a piece of art, we drift into another one or have to leave it indefintely paused. That's often true for me but sometimes it's intentional. Although I love composing, occasionally I reach a stage where I've only created 1/5 of a track but it's enough for it to fullfill it's role and I lose interest in pursuing the composition. Sometimes I don't feel like coming up with a begining, middle and end when all I need is 30 seconds here and there of "inbetweens". Making transient pieces in such varying styles has helped expand my skills. At the same time, it's been a while since I've released a track, score or body of work that I would think of as structurally complete and expressing a significant journey. I'd like to arrange the time to get more into that side of composition again.
